Here's my take on it

Incredible experience with a superb location just steps from the JR station. The staff was welcoming and attentive, especially during our emergency situation. Rooms are clean, slightly dated, but very comfortable. Buffaloes of local shops and restaurants enhance the stay. Also, the ease of transport can't be beaten!

The hotel's location in Ikebukuro is fantastic, with easy access to trains and a range of amenities. Staff were friendly and accommodating, although the breakfast could be improved as local dishes dominate the selection. Enjoyed the comfortable room with lovely views, but wished I had more time to explore the restaurants.

The room was huge and super clean. I treated myself to a lovely massage and facial at the spa. Just a heads up, the breakfast was a bit pricey but worth it overall! 😊

Could improve breakfast options for foreign tastes.

Our stay began on a disappointing note when we discovered that the room we booked was not as advertised. Instead of the promised 21 square meters, we were faced with a cramped space of about 15 square meters. This made it nearly impossible to navigate our luggage, and the closet situation was uncomfortable, lacking even a proper door.

I enjoyed a comfortable 5-night stay in a Superior Single Room, which had a fantastic city view. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Ikebukuro Station, making it easy to travel around the city. The hotel offers a delightful buffet breakfast with a variety of options, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. One downside was that the bathrooms could use a little bit of updating.

The nearby TOBU mall has great local stores and restaurants. I loved the quiet atmosphere of the neighborhood after bustling days in Tokyo.
